We believe in the power of music to entertain as well.

We believe in the power of music that allows us and the audience to share their blessings with those in need.

We invite you to consider joining us.  No audition is required — just a love of music and a willingness to share your voice with others and to rehearse with us on a few Sunday afternoons and to sing the concerts.

Our membership comes from 20 communities in the greater Kansas City area from as far North as Lexington, South to Harrisonville, East to Pleasant Hill, and West to Lenexa.  Our director, Noel Fulkerson, is an accomplished musician, retired music educator and superb teacher of choral music.

We have two compact seasons per year with 6 to 7 rehearsals and usually 5 or 6 concerts. Rehearsals are each no more than 2 hours long.  Members of the chorus enjoy some wonderful music and great fellowship.  The chorus has an average participation of 75 to 80 members.

Each member pays season dues of $25 which goes to support the workings of the organization. The chorus uniform is long sleeve white dress shirt, black dress pants, burgandy colored tie (purchased from the choir) and black dress vest (purchased from the choir). All music is supplied and is property of KCMMC and must be returned at the end of each season. We rehearse at the East 39th Street Community of Christ Church at 15006 E 39th Street Independence, MO 64055.

The chorus is led by a board of directors elected by the membership and is incorporated as a 501c3 nonprofit organization.  This allows the receipt of tax free contributions.

As a chorus member you will enjoy a unique singing experience.
